Description

  • The handmade wall hanging is created by using the wax relief method (batik) of Hmong ethnic tribe  in the north of Vietnam. 
  • The border of the tapestry is made of handwoven & organice white hemp. The pattern in the middle is completely hand-drawn using the wax relief method (batik). The artisan drew the pattern using hot beeswax on organic hemp and the cloth was afterward dyed. The sewing work and embroidery on the pattern are made very delicately by hand. 
  • The reverse side of the tapestry is made of raw cotton. Two metal coins are added for decoration.
  • This simple and elegant hanging is perfect for brocade lovers to decorate their room, dorm, kid’s room, door. It creates a relaxed feeling in the room. It also can be used as wall art for the head of your bed, on the wall of any room in your house.
